Dear
Friends & Fellow Citizens,
Many
of you know and support me already. Others may have only
recently heard of me, and the political campaign I'm
currently undertaking.
I'm
Mark Zaccaria and I'm a candidate for the US Congress
from Rhode Island's Second District. I'm a
Republican, an activist, and a former elected
official.
I'm a husband and father, a businessman and
marketing consultant, and a person dedicated to giving
something back to my community.
This
is the first of a series of E-Mail's I will be sending
out to keep you informed of my progress. You can
Un-Subscribe anytime, but I hope you'll review what I
have to say and become engaged in the process as we all
head towards Election Day, 2008. Please visit the
campaign website:
www.markz4ri.org
You
can also come visit me, in person. I'm planning two
campaign kick-off events in April and I would love to
see you at one of them. On Sunday, April
13th, 2008, I'll be hosting a rally at the
Nelson-Mack VFW, 7 Haven Street, in Cranston, RI. The music starts
at 3:00pm.
There will be introductions and formalities later
on. I'll be
there along with other local candidates to tell you what
we think about the way forward and to hear what you
think back.
The next Sunday, April 20th, 2008, we
will do it all again in Warwick. This time the
party will be at VFW Post 183, located at 176 Washington
Street, in Warwick. Once again
everything starts at 3:00pm.
It is
time to start thinking seriously about the kind of
government you want from your elected officials. I think for too
long government has spent money it didn't have. I also think
that it hasn't spent all that money as wisely as it
could have.
If you agree that our current levels of taxation
are plenty high enough, then join me in speaking out for
the hard decisions we will need to make to rein in
public expenditures and lower their drag on our
productive economy.
Listen for the details of what I mean to
do in the stump speeches I give on the 13th
and 20th. Look for them in
the E-Mails that follow this one. Please use all
this information to help you decide whether or not you
support this new bias toward smaller, less intrusive
government.
If you do, please support me in my race for the
House of Representatives.
Alone, I can't do it. Together, we
can't fail.
Sincerely,
Mark Zaccaria
