Issues on Mark's Agenda

The Economy: We have to retire regulations that place a Burden on our Productive Economy. We need to have a real bias towards reducing federal spending and reliving borrowing pressures so capital can go into the Economy, where it can be used efficiently and do some good. This will allow it to grow... And Serve Us Better.

Illegal Residents: We are a Nation of Immigrants but we are also a Nation of Laws. We must enforce our existing immigration statutes while we are working to create a more realistic legal system to deal with the demand. If we don't, we will do a disservice to all those who played by our rules and came here for a better life.

More Responsive Representation: Mark is Unaware of our current Rep's position on any of the issues of the day, because the man is just not talking about them. Have you heard from him on any of the Issues? That should change. Vote for Mark and it will.

was the first state to declare independence from the Crown; and the last state to ratify the Constitution. This fierce sense of independence - to reject intrusive control of Big Government formed the basis of America's greatest principle: "The government that governs least, governs best."

Do YOU really want the government telling you what to do? Or how to live? Do you want Government invading your life and sticking its hands ever deeper into your pockets to take your hard earned money? Only to spend it inefficiently through high overhead bureaucracies?

Never ever forget: Government has a ravenous, unquenchable appetite for your money. And it can never get enough. Tax and Spend, Tax and Spend. This is the mantra and ingrained philosophy of the Liberal Left.

Do you want Government to control your life?

I don't. I'm Mark Zaccaria and I'm running for Rhode Island's 2nd Congressional District seat in the US House of Representatives. I'll stand up against this twisted mind set in Washington. I have the energy, the determination and the right ideas to get government off of our back, and back on track. I understand business. I work hard for a living, I have a family and I want the best for our future.

To make a real difference in Washington, DC, a Congressman must not only understand the issues, and how they affect the lives of the people, but he must be able to articulate solutions to these problems based upon sound conservative principles. As Abe Lincoln said 150 years ago - "We are a government of the people, by the people, for the people". Government is supposed to serve the people, not the other way around.

Our current representative in Washington is a nice guy, but he's a life-long product of that old herd-mentality of the Tax and Spend Liberal Democratic money-wasting machine in Washington. His 8 years of supporting Big Government's Tax and Spend policies has only made matters worse. Now it's time for a new direction.
